Kathryn Maris : born on Long Island and later moved to New York City. She now lives in London.
She received a BA in English literature from Columbia University, an MA in creative writing from Boston University, and fellowships from the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown.
She has taught poetry at Boston University, the Gotham Writers’ Workshop, Morley College, Kingston University, The Arvon Foundation, and, currently, the Poetry School in London.
Her full-length collections include The Book of Jobs (Four Way Books, 2006) and God Loves You (Seren, 2013), a selection of her work appears in Penguin Modern Poets 5 and her third collection, The House With Only An Attic And A Basement, was published by Penguin UK in May 2018.
Alexandra Davis : writes poems while bringing up her four sons and working as an English teacher. Born in Kent, she has lived in Suffolk for eighteen years with her husband after graduating from St Edmund’s College, Cambridge. She was winner of the Brian Dempsey Memorial Prize 2017 and her pamplet Sprouts was published by Dempsey & Windle in 2017.
